Fulfill Your Duty As A Wing Man... Or You're Fired
"We might be in a little bit of a pickle, Dick" - Jane Harper
Guess it'll be fine. Not that complaining about anything, can change anything. Might have to stop going out though. Like all together. But I still feel the need for a wing man. Which sucks. Can't just go about kicking it by myself anymore, I've become strangely attached to social situations.
What happened to the good old days? Ages and ages ago.
Basic layout:
Wake up, alone.
Eat meals, alone.
Snuggle up, alone.
Fall asleep, alone.
Never get bored of being alone.
I was comfortable being alone. Now I'm alone for 1 day, and it gets under my skin. I want to go out all the time. I don't have the money for this, but I don't have the patience to do nothing.
I never say what I need.
I need a distraction. From everything real. Not just this. Everything.
Will you find me a distraction?
Or do I find myself a new wing man?
Daniel.

1. Find a project. I've decided that I'm taking a GAP year after I finish my undergrad degree. It needs a lot of planning so I bought these journals and I'm researching everything about travelling and making my own guide. Countries, activities, health information, visa requirements blah blah blah you get the picture.
2. Go to sporcle.com and play their games. I'm so addicted at the moment. My top score on 'Countries of The World' is 175! Beat that!
3. Make a list of things you want to do before you die. I know, I know. Cliche. But once you've done it why don't you try actually doing some of those things.
4. How fit are you? Ignore this if you're pretty fit, but otherwise start running. Run to roads you've never been down before and use it as a way to explore. Then map out your runs at http://www.walkjogrun.net/ so you can work out how far you went.
5.Take a train or bus to an area you haven't been and take a book with. Find a cafe and chill out with a coffee and your book.
Sorry if it didn't help. At least you got distracted (maybe?) reading this for a bit!
This is more directly related to a girl. She's my wing man because she's the best person I know. My best friend and whatever. And we're kind of interested in each other, but she isn't interested enough.
So by this meaning, I'm really saying that I'm sick of waiting for something to happen. But I'm also not going to be the first one to move on. Thus asking for help to find another distraction. Get my drift?
But your suggestions did help in the literal sense of a distraction, so thanks.
PS:Don't worry, I confuse myself most of the time. :)
In matters with love and relationships and that sort of thing I'm pretty useless so can't help there :)
But people always say that it's when you least expect it that someone comes along and not when you're actively seeking someone out.
Who knows!
It's just, "around the bend" is too far away. From where I'm sitting, the road is a railroad into the distance. Dead straight.
But one day at a time yeah? Haha.
